StitchSnap is an iOS app developed by Reno Labs, LLC that turns a photo into a printable cross-stitch chart. This Privacy Policy explains what information StitchSnap collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
When you tap a sample photo, take a new photo, or pick from your photo library, the image is sent to our backend so we can generate a chart. Photos are processed in memory, used only to render your chart and PDF, and discarded once the response is returned. We do not retain copies of your photos.
If you submit pricing feedback in the app, we collect the feedback text you choose to provide.
StitchSnap does not have user accounts. We never ask you to provide your name, email address, or other personal contact information within the app.
Patterns you save (chart image, DMC color list, written pattern, PDF) are stored only on your device. We do not have copies of them.

We do not log IP addresses to a database, do not associate them with you, and retain server logs for at most 30 days for operational debugging.StitchSnap requests the following device permissions:
We do not use data for advertising or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell or rent personal information.
StitchSnap uses PostHog for product analytics and crash/error diagnostics. PostHog receives the device identifiers, interaction events, feedback text if you submit it, and app/device metadata described in Section 2. PostHog's privacy policy: posthog.com/privacy.
StitchSnap uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, App Store transaction data, country, IP address, device model, and OS version. It does not receive your name, email, or contact information, because we never collect those. RevenueCat acts as a data processor on our behalf.

Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store infrastructure. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
All app-to-server traffic uses HTTPS (TLS). The app stores saved charts, PDFs, and purchase-confirmation records locally on your device. Deleting the app removes that local data, but does not automatically delete records held by PostHog or RevenueCat. We do not maintain user accounts or a user database. Backend server logs (request paths, timing, error traces) are kept for at most 30 days.
You can remove local saved charts, PDFs, purchase-confirmation records, and preferences by deleting the app. Purchases may be restored through the App Store and RevenueCat where applicable, but deleted charts and single-PDF purchase access cannot be reconstructed without their saved local data. If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data we hold about you, and the right to data portability. Deleting the app removes local app data but not processor records. To request action on records held by PostHog or RevenueCat, contact us at the email below and we will assist with the request.
Legal basis: performance of contract (delivering the app you installed) and legitimate interest (operating the service). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any right, including a request concerning records held by PostHog or RevenueCat, contact us at the email below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
StitchSnap is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
StitchSnap does not require an account, so there is no account to delete. Deleting the app removes locally stored charts, PDFs, purchase-confirmation records, and preferences, but does not automatically delete records held by PostHog or RevenueCat. To request deletion or other action for processor records tied to your device and app-user identifiers, contact us at the email below and we will assist with the request.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
