Sniplog

Effective date: March 1, 2026

1. Introduction

Sniplog is a plant propagation journal developed by Reno Labs, LLC. It helps you track every cutting from snip to soil with photo timelines, lifecycle stages, and care reminders. This Privacy Policy explains what information Sniplog collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

All content you create in Sniplog — propagation records, plant names, notes, lifecycle stages, and care reminders — is stored locally on your device. Sniplog does not have user accounts, and we never ask you to provide your name, email address, or other personal contact information within the app.

Photos

Sniplog requests access to your device camera to let you capture photos of your propagations. Photos are stored locally on your device as part of your propagation records. They are never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.

Information Collected Automatically

Sniplog itself does not collect analytics, diagnostics, or usage data. However, our subscription management service (RevenueCat) automatically collects limited information when you interact with in-app purchases:

5. Data Storage and Security

Sniplog is a local-only app. All your propagation data, photos, and preferences are stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and are protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

We do not operate servers that store your personal data. We do not have access to your propagation records, photos, or notes.

If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device.

6. Your Rights

All Users

Because Sniplog stores data locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You can delete any propagation record, photo, or note within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all data.
