SnipLog Privacy Policy

Effective August 14, 2026

Overview

SnipLog is a plant propagation journal developed by Reno Labs, LLC ("Reno Labs", "we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.

Information stored on your device

Your plant records, propagation records, reminders, notes, and timeline photos are stored on your device. SnipLog does not require an account and does not operate a backend that receives this content.

Subscriptions

We use RevenueCat to provide and restore subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives information needed to confirm your App Store purchase, such as your App Store receipt and subscription-entitlement status. Apple processes payment information; Reno Labs does not receive your payment-card number.

Optional analytics and diagnostics

SnipLog uses PostHog for optional, pseudonymous product analytics and crash diagnostics. This may include app interactions, app version, device and operating-system information, and diagnostic event data. You can turn off analytics in SnipLog under Settings. We do not use this information for advertising, sell it, or use it to track you across apps or websites.

Service providers

RevenueCat and PostHog process the limited information described above solely to provide subscription and analytics services to Reno Labs. Their processing may occur in countries other than the one where you live, subject to their applicable safeguards and policies.

Retention and security

On-device journal data remains under your control until you remove it from the app or device. RevenueCat and PostHog retain their service data according to their own retention practices and our service configuration. We use reasonable measures to protect the limited information processed through these services, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information we control. California residents may also have rights under California law. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To make a request or ask a privacy question, email support@renolabshq.com. We may need information to verify your request and will respond as required by applicable law.

Children

SnipLog is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at the address above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when SnipLog or applicable law changes. We will post the updated version at this URL and revise the effective date.
