Plot Twister

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Plot Twister iOS app and any related online services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Reno Labs. By downloading, installing, or using Plot Twister you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to use Plot Twister. The Service is rated 17+ and contains AI-generated narrative content that may include mature themes (suspense, conflict, mild horror). If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service.

2. Your Account

• Plot Twister creates a device-based account automatically on first launch. You do not provide a username or password.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs through your device.
• You may set a display name. Choose one that is not offensive, impersonating, or likely to mislead other players. We may remove names that violate this rule.
• You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via Profile → Delete My Data.

3. Subscriptions and Credits

• Plot Twister offers an auto-renewing subscription and one-time credit packs. Pricing is shown in the in-app paywall before you purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple ID subscription settings on your device.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple — we never receive your payment card details.
• Credits purchased in-app are non-refundable except as required by law, and are tied to your Plot Twister account.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Plot Twister, you agree NOT to:

• Use the Service to generate, request, or share content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or that incites violence.
• Attempt to bypass content moderation or jailbreak the AI story engine.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app or backend.
• Use automated tools to scrape, mass-request, or load-test the Service.
• Misrepresent your identity in display names or shared content.

We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these rules.

5. User-Generated Content

The story text and custom whispers you contribute, your Plot Twist Score, and your display name may appear on episode leaderboards and on the featured outcomes feed visible to other players. By using the Service you grant Reno Labs a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and re-share this content within the Service. You retain ownership of your contributions. You can request removal of any specific shared outcome by emailing support@renolabshq.com.

6. AI-Generated Content

Plot Twister uses large language models to generate stories. We make reasonable efforts to filter unsafe output, but AI-generated content can occasionally be inaccurate, surprising, or inconsistent. The stories are fiction and do not represent real persons, events, or places. You are responsible for how you use any output (for example, do not present AI-generated text as factual news or advice).

7. Intellectual Property

• The Plot Twister name, logo, character art, music, and underlying software are owned by Reno Labs and protected by copyright and trademark law.
• You may share screenshots and recap cards generated by the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Commercial use of Plot Twister content requires written permission from Reno Labs.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet any particular expectation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reno Labs and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Plot Twister at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or for reasons necessary to protect the Service. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Reno Labs is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in-app and update the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
